PIN2 is the J1850 protocol terminal. The OBD2 data link connector or DLC is the central point for testing many automotive issues.

The DLC is a legislated part of OBD-2, which is a diagnostic system Federally mandated since year 1996.

All vehicles have the exact same connector after 1996 to present. This connector has not been changed. (note: the following is NOT a sales pitch.
